Martin’s Plans Aug. 7 Celebration will mark the grand reopening of the Martin’s store at 240 Elizabeth Drive in Stephens City, Virginia, after a months‑long remodel that kept the doors open.

The celebration draws longtime shoppers.

Renovation highlights and new features

The store, which opened in 2006, is celebrating its 20th anniversary while unveiling updated departments. Produce, bakery, meat and seafood sections have been refreshed to improve efficiency and broaden the product mix. The central aisles now carry a wider assortment, and the deli and prepared‑foods area was completely overhauled, adding more hot meals and Grab‑n‑Go options.

Beer and wine aisles received expanded refrigeration and a smoother flow, while the in‑store pharmacy was redesigned with a private consultation room for vaccine administration. The signature Wall of Values has been reimagined to provide a single‑stop spot for weekly‑circular sale items.

Store manager Wade Carmichael said, “Marking our 20th anniversary in Stephens City this year, it was time for improvements across the store to enable us to better serve the changing needs of our customers.” He added that the remodel allows the team to focus on “value and freshness across all store departments, something the Stephens City community has come to expect from Martin’s.”
